Our kit building service is currently oversubscribed, we have therefore taken the decision to close our order book for the time being.

Mark’s Trains offers a kit building service in all scales. Mark has many years of kit building experience whether it be plastic or brass. This kit building service was not previously advertised owing to capacity issues, however with a new larger workshop work capacity has now greatly increased so we are now able to offer this as a service to our customers.
Our kit building service can also include add-ons such as; conversion to DCC including sound, spray painting your finished kit to your desired livery – with transfers and nameplates applied if required, and further detailing such as the addition of working LED lights, Seuthe smoke generator installation, and kadee couplings, making this a convenient one-stop service catering for all your bespoke needs.
Here’s an example of a brass kit being built; it is a OO scale ‘Caley Coaches Ltd’ Caledonian Railway Class 498 0-6-0T steam locomotive about half way through construction.
